The Story Of Pikachu

Once, in a rainforest far away from here, there lived beautiful yellow plants called Pikas. The plant was soft and fluffy and grew near an electrical factory that was experiencing problems. One dark, gloomy, Sunday evening, the machinery in the plant malfunctioned. There was a huge, firey explosion. Elecric wires spewed from the firey depths of the huge factory. Electrical sparks entered the soft, fluffy Pika plants. Suddenly, the soft blooms of the Pika plants began to stir. Little black dots unfolded that were actually eyes. A zig-zag tail shot up from the back of the blossoms. The cute little yellow creatures emerged from the excess fluff and hopped of their stems. After millions of years of waiting, the Pikachu was born. The stems that the Pikachu were born on were eaten by the soft yellow creatures. As the Pikachu grew older, these stems became extinct because the Pikachu were no longer plants- they were independant animals. The Pikachu then found deceased plant Pok`emon, like Ivysaur, their favorites, and munched on the greens.

The Pikachu was thought of as a nuicance at first. They were hunted for sport. Ladies who wore Pikachu skins were in high regard. The Pikachu were locked in cages in testing labs. Soon, the Pikachu were extinct in that area. They traveled in a large group to Viridian Forest. Massive thunderstorms occured often because of the electrical charge of the Pikachu. Then most of the clan split up, leaving only three in Viridian Forest. There, Proffessor Oak discovered them and brought them to his lab. There he found that Pikachu were electrical mice. Later in his studies, Oak also found that Pikachu were Pokemon. Now every trainer in the area wanted one. Oak tried to tell them to take care of the Pikachu and take special precautions with them, his efforts were of no effect. Many Pikachu were neglected and mistreated. They were used as a mere fighting tool. The Pikachu ran away from their abusive owners and found a clan of Pokemon. These other Pokemon taught the Pikachu how to be civalized. People soon envaded the Pikachu's safe haven, but the Pikachu were armed and dangerous! They electricuted many a Pok`emon poacher in self defense reasons. They created large thunderstorms when they gathered in groups. Although the Pikachu seemed like a vicious Pok`emon, it was affectionate and needed more care then a novice could provide.

Pikachu were uncommon in the wild, but commonly seen in a trainer's arms. This wasn't an ongoing fad like Charmander, Squirtle, Jigglypuff, and Meowth. No, the Pikachu are still popular today. Some people still don't understand Pikachu. They constantly force a weak Pikachu to battle without a rest. They leave them at Pokemon daycare centers and never return.
Life in battle is difficult, but the electric mouse can handle it. They paralyze their enemies with thundershock, then use their other defenses and come in for the kill. In conclusion, don't take the Pikachu for granted. It has lived a perilous life, take care of it.
